In-Class Policies
  • Please do not bring toys, food or drinks into the studio. It only takes one cup or a special toy and they all want one! Please save the drinks and food for after class. They can be kept in the waiting area.

  • Please make sure your child is sitting with rhythm sticks. If she/he wants to dance, she/he can put the sticks down and dance away!

  • Too much chatter between adults during class is distracting to the teacher and especially to the children. We welcome friends and families to join classes together, however, our purpose is to allow you and your child to experience musical fun together. Your child's experience in class is directly related to your participation. If you are talking to another adult, then you are not participating and your child will be less likely to join in the activities.
Health Policies

Three Steps To Keeping Your Child Healthy In Class

  1. As part of an effort to minimize the spread of germs you will find a container of antibacterial wipes in the studio. I suggest that as you come into class, you wipe your hands and your child's hands. Please note that these wipes are recommended for hand use only and not for face use. If you prefer a more gentle solution, regular wipes are available as well as soap and water in the bathroom. Feel free to use wipes after class also.

  2. In addition to hand washing, I continue to ask you to please keep track of any instruments that go in your child's mouth. Be sure to place it in the "GERMIE" bucket. These will get extra cleaning attention.

  3. Please do not come to class if your child has had a fever within 24 hours rashes, greenish discharge from the nose, excessive coughing or any communicable diseases (chicken pox, etc.). This policy helps to protect all our children and adults from illness. Thank You!
